VolleyVision is currently in an early pilot phase with a small number of users. These policies describe our current practices in plain terms and will be reviewed and updated as the platform grows.
Account information — name, age, email, role (player/coach/club admin), and club affiliation.
Video footage — training videos uploaded by coaches, clubs, players, or a parent/guardian on a player's behalf.
Derived biomechanical data — pose keypoints, spike timing, phase classifications (approach, takeoff, arm cocking, arm acceleration, follow-through, landing), and other metrics computed from uploaded footage.
Usage data — basic logs (login times, pages visited) used for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies — used only for session/login purposes (e.g., keeping you signed in). VolleyVision does not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.
VolleyVision does not sell personal information or video footage to third parties.
Video and derived data are stored on Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS) with encryption in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to the account's associated club/coach/player and to VolleyVision for service operation and support.
You (or, for a player under 13, their parent/guardian) may request to:
VolleyVision uses encryption for data in transit and at rest, and restricts access to authorized personnel and systems necessary to operate the Service.
VolleyVision may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
