Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, requesting to join, or using VolleyVision (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service and the accompanying Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Who Can Use VolleyVision

VolleyVision is used by three types of accounts:

• Clubs — organizations that manage teams and invite coaches and players
• Coaches — individuals who manage training sessions, upload video, and review player analytics
• Players — individuals whose training footage and performance data are analyzed. Players (or a parent/guardian on their behalf) may upload their own training footage in addition to footage uploaded by a coach or club.

3. Age Requirements & Account Creation

VolleyVision registration is invitation-only. A coach or club may send an invitation, but the invited person must personally complete the signup form.

• Players age 13 and older complete the signup form themselves and confirm: "I am at least 13 years old, or I am a parent/guardian registering on behalf of a minor. I agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy."
• Players under 13 may not complete the form themselves. A parent or guardian must complete the signup form and confirm the same statement on the player's behalf. A coach or club may send the invitation but may not complete registration for a minor.
• By completing the form, the signer confirms they have the authority to do so.

4. Requesting to Join

Players, coaches, and clubs may request to join VolleyVision. A request does not guarantee access — VolleyVision reviews and approves requests before granting an account. A coach or club may invite a player by sending an invitation to the player's email address, or to a parent/guardian's email address if the player is under 13.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload video or content you do not have the right to upload
• Use the Service to harass, misrepresent, or misidentify any individual
• Attempt to access accounts, data, or footage that isn't yours or your team's
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-extract data from the Service

6. Ownership of Content

• Video footage you upload remains yours (or your club's). You grant VolleyVision a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the Service (e.g., pose detection, spike analysis, overlay generation).
• Derived analytics (pose keypoints, spike metrics, phase timing, overlays) are generated by VolleyVision and made available to the uploading party (coach, club, parent/guardian, or player) and the associated player's account.

7. Termination

You may request account deletion at any time. VolleyVision may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Disclaimer

VolleyVision provides biomechanical and performance analytics for training and coaching purposes only. It is not medical or injury-diagnostic advice. Any action taken based on VolleyVision's analytics is at your own risk.

9. Changes to These Terms

VolleyVision may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice before taking effect.
